How to Install lcov software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

lcov software package provides Summarise Code coverage information from GCOV, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lcov

lcov is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lcov package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lcov *

You will get with lcov package name, version, architecture and description in a table
